The following dyno runs are from a '94 964 C2 performed on a Dynojet 248x. Engine is completely stock with catalytic converter with the exception of a muffler bypass, cut open airbox cover, RS lightweight flywheel and pressure plate, and our 964 performance chip. Dynoed with 91 octane California pump gas, this car produces 252 hp at the rear wheels. Calculating for a 15% transmission loss, this engine produces 297 HP at the crank

.

 


 

The following is from a '93 964 RS America modified with a 993 exhaust system. Dynoed on a Mustang Dyno with the stock RS chip, the car developed a maximum of 219 rear wheel HP, or 258 HP at the engine assuming a 15% drivetrain loss (dotted curves). After installation of our performance chip, the engine develops a maximum of 273 rear wheel HP, or 321 HP at the engine (solid curves), a 54 HP gain at the rear wheels.
