Euro Premuffler

European premuffler, used in place of the factory catalytic converter for improved exhaust flow and cooler engine operation. Same as used by Porsche for all European spec 911s, provides an additional 6-7 hp gain at the upper rpms, with improved flow through the rpm range. Straight through, perforated tube design ensures maximum flow with quiet sound levels comparable to the factory catalytic converter. Superior mitered merge collector design ensures high flow and high velocity to increase and broaden engine torque all the way to the horsepower peak and beyond, compared to competitors products which use an inferior "canister" style collector. Oxygen sensor bung located after merge collector allows O2 sensor sampling from both banks engine banks, unlike competitor products which sample only one side. At a scant 6.5 lbs, this is the lightest premuffler available. Made in the USA by M&K Specialties of 321 stainless steel features the highest quality hand fabrication and TIG welding. For 78-89 911, combine with our premuffler chip for best performance, maximum torque, and best throttle response.
